READING STRATEGIES
Today, I want to share about how we can get an effective reading. Here are some strategies:-
· Reading aloud : read expository passages
· Choral reading : Read the copy of text with aloud together
· Paired reading : Enjoyable way for two students to complete a
Reading assignment or share a story.
· Reciprocal / paired reading : Make a discussion in a pair or a group
· Jigsaw reading : Divide a long reading section into a sections
· Content raps : Read aloud in an important passage from a content-area text
With important new concept
· Intensive reading : Read and mark a short texts
· Independent choice reading : Taught how to choose books at their
Independent reading level
· Guided reading : Teacher with a small group who have similar reading
Process
· Echo reading : a method to help children develop confidence and fluency
